1995 Natural Born Killers Screenplay - Quentin Tarantino - Faber&Faber

£10.00

1995 Faber & Faber edition of Quentin Tarantino’s Screenplay for Natural Born Killers, directed by Oliver Stone.

‘Two victims of traumatised childhoods become lovers and psychopathic serial murderers irresponsibly glorified by the mass media.’

Tarantino originally tried and failed to shoot his version of Natural Born Killers but couldn’t raise the funding so he ended up selling the script, being one of the few features he has written but not also directed.

The script eventually made it into Oliver Stone’s hands, Stone, along with associate producer Richard Rutowski and screenwriter David Veloz, rewrote Tarantino’s script to fit their view for the movie, but the changes were so radical that the story ended up having little resemblance to the original.

Tarantino still received a story credit though he subsequently disowned the film even asking for his name to be removed from the production and to this day claiming to have never seen the finished film!

Here you can read the full original screenplay, see what changes Oliver Stone made and see how close it is to what actually made it up on screen.

Includes full original screen-play.

Condition- Very Good.
