2000 Memento- Cristopher Nolan Japanese Chirashi B5 Poster

£18.00

An Original Japanese Chirashi for Christopher Nolan’s landmark Neo-Noir Thriller "Memento" (2000) which would have been distributed upon the films release.

This features a Full colour front image of Guy Pearce fully Tattooed up as the character Leonard Shelby, a man who suffers from anterograde amnesia, resulting in short-term memory loss and the inability to form new memories, alongside Carrie-Anne Moss as Natalie a Bartender caught up in Leonards Search. Also features Polaroids of stills from the film mimicking one of Leonard’s method of retaining new information.

The reverse shows more stills from the film as well as Japanese Typography and  promotional information in Japanese, typical of these flyers.

Chirashi (roughly translating to Flyer in English) are promotional movie flyers usually featuring key artwork, cast information, release dates, and other essential details about the film, which are typically distributed in Japan only, for free at the time of a movie's release in theatres, cafes, and other locations where moviegoers gather and then no longer produced once the films run has ended… I’ve told you this before, haven’t I?

Due to their aesthetic appeal and limited availability, they have gained a cult following among movie enthusiasts and collectors alike- Making them perfect for framing!

Condition- Very Good.

Dimensions- B5 (7.5’ x 10’)
