90’s Original ’Crash’ Japanese Cinema Ticket
This is an original Japanese cinema ticket stub for David Cronenberg’s Controversial Cult Film ‘Crash’ (1996) based on the novel of the same name by J.G. Ballard.
The Film centres on a group of individuals who find sexual gratification through car accidents, exploring themes of sexuality, obsession, and the intimate connection between violence and desire.
It’s controversial subject matter led to the film being banned in many countries upon its original release.
This ticket would have been given upon entry into the actual theatre in Japan to Cinema goers, showing incredible artwork from the film framed by Rosanna Arquette’s Braced legs alongside Japanese graphics and ‘entry’ stamp and hand written date on reverse- this would look great in a frame!
In an increasingly digital age where physical tickets are being replaced by QR codes just remember- It’s good to have stuff!
Condition- Excellent, Ticket is Used.
Dimensions- 5” x 2.5”
